Overview
The ADWA AD111 is the benchmark portable multi-parameter meter for professionals who need reliable, accurate measurements of pH, ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential), and Temperature in a single lightweight instrument.
Manufactured by ADWA Instruments — headquartered in Szeged, Hungary with production facilities in Romania — the AD111 combines European engineering precision with outstanding cost-efficiency. It is the preferred choice for water quality laboratories, environmental monitoring, aquaculture farms, swimming pool management, food and beverage QC, and educational institutions across Egypt and the Middle East.
Available from Eagle Systems for Supplies, Cairo, with same-day dispatch and fast delivery across Egypt.
What Makes the AD111 the Right Choice?
Egypt’s diverse water chemistry — from Nile-fed municipal supplies to industrial process water and agricultural irrigation — demands a meter that handles extreme pH ranges and fluctuating temperatures without compromising accuracy. The AD111 delivers on all three:
1. Three Parameters in One Device Unlike basic pH-only meters, the AD111 measures pH, ORP (mV), and Temperature simultaneously. This eliminates the need for separate instruments, saves bench space, and reduces calibration time.
2. True ±0.02 pH Accuracy With ±0.02 pH resolution and automatic temperature compensation (ATC), the AD111 produces results that meet the demands of certified laboratories and quality-control environments — not just basic field checks.
3. Auto-Buffer Recognition The 2-point push-button calibration automatically recognises standard buffer solutions at pH 4.01, pH 7.01, and pH 10.01. No manual entry required — the meter identifies the buffer and adjusts calibration instantly.
4. Complete Out-of-the-Box The AD111 is supplied with every accessory needed for immediate operation: pH electrode (AD1230B), stainless steel temperature probe (AD7662), calibration buffer sachets (pH 4.01 and pH 7.01), four AA alkaline batteries, and a full user manual. Nothing additional to purchase before your first measurement.
5. Auto-Off Battery Conservation The meter powers off automatically after 8 minutes of non-use, significantly extending battery life in field conditions where accidental power-on is common.

How to Use the ADWA AD111 — Quick Guide
Taking a pH measurement:
- Remove the electrode tip protector and rinse with distilled water.
- Press MODE to select pH mode.
- Submerge the electrode in the sample — avoid air bubbles.
- Wait for the HOLD indicator to appear (stable reading).
- Record the displayed pH value.
Calibrating the pH electrode:
- Prepare a fresh pH 7.01 buffer solution.
- Submerge the electrode and press CAL.
- The meter auto-recognises the buffer and adjusts — confirm with ENTER.
- For 2-point calibration, repeat with pH 4.01 or pH 10.01 buffer.
Taking an ORP (mV) measurement:
- Press MODE to switch to mV/ORP mode.
- Submerge the electrode (ORP-capable electrode required).
- Allow the reading to stabilise — use HOLD to freeze.
Tip: Always rinse the electrode with distilled or deionised water between samples to prevent cross-contamination.
ADWA AD111 vs AD110 — What’s the Difference?

Choose AD111 if you need ORP / redox potential measurement — for water disinfection control, aquaculture, or oxidising/reducing process monitoring.
Choose AD110 if pH and temperature measurement is sufficient for your application and budget.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can the AD111 measure saltwater or seawater? A: Yes. The wide pH range of −2.00 to 16.00 accommodates saline, alkaline, and acidic solutions, including seawater, industrial effluents, and chemical process waters.
Q: How often should I calibrate the AD111? A: For general use, calibrate before each measurement session or at a minimum daily. In critical applications (pharmaceutical, food QC), calibrate with each use. Always use fresh, unexpired calibration buffers.
Q: Can I replace the pH electrode? A: Yes. The AD111 uses a standard BNC connector — the AD1230B replacement electrode is available from Eagle Systems. Other ADWA-compatible BNC electrodes also work.
Q: What is ORP / Redox potential and why does it matter? A: ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) measures the ability of a solution to oxidise or reduce substances. In water treatment, ORP directly indicates the effectiveness of disinfectants such as chlorine and ozone. A positive ORP indicates oxidising conditions; a negative ORP indicates reducing conditions.
Q: Is the AD111 waterproof? A: The AD111 is splash-resistant but not fully waterproof/submersible. Avoid submerging the main unit. The electrode and temperature probe are designed for immersion in liquid samples.
Q: Does Eagle Systems offer calibration services for the AD111? A: Yes. Eagle Systems provides calibration verification services and can supply certified NIST-traceable calibration buffers for critical applications. Contact us for details.
Q: What is the warranty on the ADWA AD111? A: The AD111 carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects. Eagle Systems handles all warranty claims in Egypt — you do not need to contact the manufacturer directly.
Q: Is the ADWA AD111 suitable for use in Egypt’s climate? A: Yes. The operating temperature range of −5°C to 105°C and the automatic temperature compensation make the AD111 fully suitable for Egypt’s high-temperature environments in both laboratory and outdoor field conditions.
